Mitchell began his electrical career by gaining an Electrical Apprenticeship at 18 years old. On completion of his apprenticeship, he worked for an Electrical firm before venturing out to become a subcontractor. During his time as a subcontractor he has worked on prestigious projects such as the London Olympic Stadium, Addenbrookes Hospital and the Salvation Army. Other projects include Schools, Lidl stores, Industrial Production Warehouses (Base build and fit out), Hospitals, Amazon Warehouses, and Domestic properties. During Mitchell's time as a subcontractor, he recognised that there were common complaints within the electrical industry such as: contractors not turning up on time, overcharging of clients, and poor standards of work.
